Mask sculpture cut from poplar wood for CNC Fabrication class. The assignment was to create a caricature that expressed a specific emotion. My family likes to collect souvenir masks from our travel destinations. In the midst of graduation season, this was my final class project, and my family was coming to Philly to visit me. This would be my souvenir to them, inspired by my sister’s weird smile.
